What to Do If You're Having Suicidal Thoughts

If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts, it's crucial to take immediate steps to ensure your safety and well-being. Here are five actions you can consider:

1. Reach Out for Help Contact a mental health professional or a crisis hotline. Talking to someone who understands can provide immediate support and guidance. You can text or call services like the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or reach out to local helplines.

2. Talk to Someone You Trust Share your feelings with a friend, family member, or counselor. Opening up about your thoughts can help alleviate the burden and provide you with emotional support. It’s important to connect with someone who can listen without judgment.
3. Create a Safety Plan Develop a plan for what to do when you feel overwhelmed. This can include identifying warning signs, coping strategies, and emergency contacts. Having a structured approach can help you navigate through crises.
4. Engage in Grounding Techniques Use your senses to ground yourself. Focus on what you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. This can help distract you from distressing thoughts and bring you back to the present moment.

5. Remove Access to Means of Self-Harm Make your environment safer by removing items that could be used for self-harm. This includes medications, sharp objects, or anything else that poses a risk. Ensuring your surroundings are safe can help reduce impulsive actions.

Conclusion Remember, you are not alone, and there are people and resources available to help you through this difficult time. Taking these steps can be a vital part of managing your feelings and finding a path toward healing.

Envy Attacks: What Are They, And How To Survive Them

An envy attack can involve:

Putting you down – either overtly, or subtly.

Provoking a reaction in you, from anger to sadness to outrage – then standing back and watching sparks fly.

Undermining your opinion or stance so you begin to doubt yourself.

Showing off about their own achievements, or the accomplishments of their children or other family members, even when rather modest.

Using sarcasm – disguised as ‘humour’– to poke fun at your achievements and mock what you believe in. This can feel humiliating.

Copying you – or pre-empting you beyond the limit of simple flattery. You invest in a new kitchen, they’ll get an extension and conservatory. You buy a new car, they’ll buy a bigger and better one.

Passively waiting until you slip up, and they’ll be gleefully ready to say” “I told you so”.

Generally just making you feel bad about yourself.

How to survive an envy attack:

If you start to feel small, this is what the envious person wants. Try to catch that feeling of diminishing yourself and stop yourself from doing it.

Don’t let their insults stick. Smile and nod and show that their words aren’t getting to you.

Don’t make apologies for who you are and what you do. You don’t have to hide your good fortunes just because you fear someone will swoop down and punish you for them.

Don’t retaliate by criticising them too.

Remind the envious person of their own strengths and successes. Encourage them to count their own blessings.

Create ways to protect your energies from being sucked out of you. Think about visualising yourself in a protective bubble, so any envy attack coming your way can bounce off you.

Ultimately, choose to hang out with people who make you feel good about yourself, rather than those who deplete you.

If you’ve been experiencing envy attacks, or if envy is affecting your life in debilitating ways, then you may benefit from being in therapy to work out what’s happening and how you can work your way through it. We offer therapy sessions seven days a week from our centres in Clapham and Tooting. You can make an initial appointment by emailing [email protected] or calling 020 8673 4545.

Maintaining a Healthy Mind: Nurturing Your Mental Well-Being

Introduction:

In today's fast-paced world, where stress and challenges abound, maintaining a healthy mind is crucial for overall well-being. Just like our physical health, our mental health requires regular attention and care. Cultivating a balanced and positive mindset not only enhances our ability to cope with life's ups and downs but also contributes to a more fulfilling and meaningful existence. In this blog post, we will explore some effective strategies to nurture and sustain a healthy mind.

Practice Mindfulness: Mindfulness is the art of being fully present and engaged in the present moment. By training ourselves to focus on the "here and now," we can reduce anxiety and minimize rumination about the past or worries about the future. Simple mindfulness exercises like deep breathing, meditation, or grounding techniques can help us develop greater self-awareness and reduce stress levels. Cultivate

Gratitude: Gratitude is a powerful practice that can transform our perspective on life. By consciously acknowledging and appreciating the positive aspects of our lives, we shift our focus away from what's lacking and embrace contentment. Maintaining a gratitude journal, where we jot down things we're grateful for each day, can be a wonderful habit to instill in our lives.

Exercise Regularly: Physical and mental health are interconnected, and regular exercise has a profound impact on our state of mind. Engaging in physical activities releases endorphins, which act as natural mood lifters. Whether it's a brisk walk, yoga, dancing, or any other form of exercise you enjoy, incorporating movement into your routine can significantly contribute to a healthy mind.

Nourish Your Brain: The food we eat plays a vital role in our mental health. A well-balanced diet rich in essential nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants supports brain health and cognitive function. Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish, nuts, and seeds have been linked to improved brain health, while whole grains and leafy greens offer long-lasting energy and promote mental clarity.

Social Connections: Humans are social beings, and fostering positive relationships is crucial for mental well-being. Surround yourself with supportive and understanding friends and family members. Engage in meaningful conversations, share your thoughts and feelings, and be open to providing support when needed. Connecting with others not only reduces feelings of loneliness but also contributes to a sense of belonging and purpose.

Limit Stressors: Identify the sources of stress in your life and take proactive steps to reduce or manage them. Whether it's setting healthy boundaries, learning time management skills, or seeking professional help when necessary, prioritizing stress reduction is paramount for maintaining a healthy mind.

Embrace Learning and Creativity: Engaging in continuous learning and creative pursuits can be incredibly beneficial for mental health. Learning new skills, reading, or exploring creative outlets like painting, writing, or playing an instrument stimulates the brain and promotes a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.

Conclusion: Maintaining a healthy mind requires intentional effort and a commitment to self-care. By incorporating practices like mindfulness, gratitude, regular exercise, nourishing our brains, building social connections, and managing stress, we can cultivate a positive and resilient mindset. Remember, just as we care for our physical health, tending to our mental well-being is equally important in leading a fulfilling and joyful life. Start small, be patient with yourself, and gradually build a routine that supports your mental health journey. You deserve to live a life where your mind is as healthy as your body!

How To Heal From Being Rejected?

Healing from rejection can be a process that varies from person to person. Here are some strategies that may help you in your healing journey:

1. Acknowledge your emotions: Allow yourself to feel the pain, sadness, or disappointment that comes with rejection. It's normal to experience a range of emotions, and acknowledging them can be an important part of the healing process.

2. Practice self-compassion: Treat yourself with kindness and understanding. Remind yourself that rejection is a common part of life and does not define your worth as a person. Offer yourself comforting and supportive thoughts, similar to what you would say to a friend going through a difficult time.

3. Gain perspective: Understand that rejection is often not a personal attack but a result of various factors, such as compatibility, circumstances, or the other person's preferences. Try to gain a broader perspective on the situation and remind yourself that one rejection does not determine your future or your value.

4. Reflect and learn: Use the experience as an opportunity for growth and self-reflection. Ask yourself if there are any lessons to be learned from the rejection. Consider whether there are areas for self-improvement or adjustments in your approach or expectations. Use the experience as a stepping stone for personal development.

5. Engage in self-care: Focus on activities that promote your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Take care of yourself by eating nutritious food, getting regular exercise, practicing relaxation techniques (such as deep breathing or meditation), and engaging in hobbies or activities that bring you joy.

6. Seek support: Reach out to trusted friends, family members, or a support network who can offer understanding, encouragement, and a listening ear. Sharing your feelings and experiences with others can provide comfort and a sense of validation.

7. Set new goals: Redirect your energy and focus toward new goals or aspirations. Channel your efforts into pursuits that align with your passions and values. By shifting your focus, you can create a sense of purpose and open yourself up to new opportunities.

8. Practice self-reflection and gratitude: Take time to reflect on your positive qualities, strengths, and achievements. Celebrate your accomplishments and the aspects of yourself that make you unique. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude by focusing on the good things in your life, which can help shift your mindset from dwelling on rejection to embracing positivity.

Remember that healing takes time, and it's important to be patient with yourself. Everyone's healing process is different, so trust your own journey and take small steps forward. If you find that the pain and distress from rejection persist or significantly impact your daily life, consider seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor who can provide guidance and support.

What is gaslighting at work

What is gaslighting at work? 6 signs of gaslighting and how to deal

By Shonna Waters, PhD December 22, 2021 - 23 MIN READ

https://www.betterup.com/blog/gaslighting-at-work

What exactly is gaslighting?

To stand up to gaslighting in the workplace, we need to clearly define what it is. Gaslighting is one of those terms that seems to be thrown around a lot. Many people mistake gaslighting for other forms of psychological aggression and abuse, such as bullying and exclusion. So what is gaslighting? At its core, gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation. The gaslighter (the person doing the gaslighting) manipulates the gaslightee (the person being gaslighted) in a way that forces them to question their own version of events and even their own sanity.

6 signs of gaslighting in the workplace Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse that can be more subtle than other types of emotional abuse, like bullying. It’s the opposite of feeling psychologically safe. A gaslighting situation at work can cause you to dread each week. This can prevent you from enjoying your personal life and even push you to look for a new job. The worst part is, gaslighting by definition causes you to question your own experience, making it tough to seek help. So how do you know for sure that you’re a victim of gaslighting in the workplace? Watch out for these 6 signs of gaslighting:

1. You hear persistent negative accounts of your performance

2. You hear the suspected gaslighter publicly say negative things about you

3. You hear negative, untrue gossip about yourself

4. You find yourself questioning your perception of reality at work

5. The suspected gaslighter belittles your emotions, efforts, or perceptions

6. You’re excluded from meetings or events relevant or required for your job Let’s dive deeper into the six signs of gaslighting at work.

Grace

There is an atmospheric change in the air and we are all on one accord knowing this fact. What’s happening……?

The Lord isn’t trying to unite folk “The World Way”, not the way you’re thinking. Nope! The Lord Christ will unite His body globally in Grace – His Kingdom. And He has plenty of time to arrange His plans.

Grace, Love United Then…..

There are shakings, there is chaos, there is identity confusion, there are fights, there are authority issues and there are divisions everywhere but there are strange occurrences with the animal kingdom. Well……

The Lord destroyed the Tower of Babel mentioned in the book of Genius and He gave the people different languages. To His body, He gave the Holy Spirit and the language of Speaking in our heavenly language for the body of Christ. The world is in chaos maybe because The Lord has knocked over the Tower of Babel again. You may ask, what would be the Tower of Babel in our day. I will leave that answer open for you to exercise your thinking muscles. I have my ideas based on my world but you may have your ideas, which I think there are many things that represent the Tower of Babel so to speak.

Here is a solution and here is a responsibility with helping to assist in the global man-made mess that “appears” globally. The Christ is simply following His business plan trillions of years ago that He prepared before the physical tangible manifestation of the Earth and the Earth neighborhood other 8 planets; He is continuing uniting His body – His Bride of Christ which He started with the gift of Peter the disciple at Pentecost and it has not changed. It’s like all business owners. (Proverbs 3:13-35) Whenever you get off track from the original business plan outline, you shift, you tear down, you reconstruct, you change management, and or even you change the name of the business to bring things back to the original foundation.

Some of you may think that the gathering of the body of Christ is only given to the management of the church. Well, He has given gifts to men and women to edify the church. And, the rest of us are like a field of sunflowers, the attributes of Christ to bring a mirror image of heaven and earth as it is. Paul said in his writings, written in the 3 levels of revelation, that Paul sows the seed and Apollos water the seed, and then God makes it grow. Remember that the management of the church, that assignment or gifts has been given to men and women who have the appointed direction to speak what heaven has spoken already.

Peace Be With You!

Press and Press Forward

Press forward.... Anytime you embrace yourself to press forward, it isn’t always immediate, sometimes you have to work through obstacles and even emotional distortion. After all assessments, after all, has been made clear, and you can see a path to press forward —press, press, and press forward.

There is no other option even if you’re pressing with the last ounce of strength, press upward and press upward again. Don’t give up on you taking the next move upward —idea, mile, email, delivery, written chapter, chapter read, but most of all don’t give up on God....He gives you grace, another wind of possibility to finish your daily race.

And by all means, have lots of fun, laughter, and joy on this journey.

God and His Word Are One

Motivational Thursday

August 20, 2020

God and His Word Are One...This statement impacted me this morning.

This sentence could immediately have you meditating on the very essence of who this ”Big” guy is and a very much witness of all things in the earth. The Lord fills the entire universe with His presence but His Word is dwelling whereabout?

We know it says in: Ephesians 4:10: He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

In Hebrew God tells us that He gives angels spirit but He gives man flames of fire, which is the Word. ”Angels spirit and man flames of fire”.

An example of this is when Moses stood before the burning bush. Gods, spirit and the word, the bush was one as to the reason the bush was never consumed.

If God's spirit shows up today with His flames of fire, what will remain. Faith will remain.

God (who is spirit) and His Word (who is his son) Are One...

Visionary Declaration

Let’s talk about where we are in 2020. In January 1, 2020 at 12 midnight around the nation the declaration penetrated the sounds of, “This Is The Year Of Vision”. Coming into a new year sound really great at a time of yearly renewal, a sense of starting over when some have felt their previous decision was concluded a failure, when in reality, there isn’t any failures, there are only trails in training to excel.

In March the visionary of an invisible virus floating in the air has detoured the declaration of a year of vision. Many has lost their lives, some have resulted in resisting depression, and others have lost a business affecting financial defiance. This has push inward notifications to think outside the box. The year of vision declaration is declared by many with a creative and innovative thought for a future that we all will face.

Where are we now in August 2020. We are in the declaration of it’s the year of vision....continues. Many in the mist of chaos and confusion of not knowing what to do but at the same time, knowing what to do.

The strength of each ones foundation will be the ground that will out last this year pandemic. That foundation will depend on your grounded strengths. Some will be in “Education, Common Sense, Wisdom, Knowledge and Pure Motive Understanding, Entertainment, Family, News Reporting, and even Comical Views and lets not forget the most valuable of them all, the priceless substance of Love strength.”

You see, everyone will have something leftover at the resurrection of this globalized pandemic, and that my friend will be the foundation of strength in an area that is the most powerful and valuable to you.

James 4:8 says this, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”

You matter in this thing what we are all calling life!!! Rest your soul and take Love as the weapon against all else.

Self Love

Self Love Is The New Relationship Status: It has been written to love others as you love yourself. Let that marinate.

Most people that love themselves are people that will do like wise outwardly. The second correlation is how ever you feel about yourself is the same outwardly. You see I said ”how you feel” about self and not love. There is huge difference between how you feel about self and self-love. The variations between the too is your demonstration outwardly, in secret or openly expression.

I heard in my spirit one day while meditating:

”The Face Of God Is The Heart Of Himself”.

Self Love is far more associated with Gods image, —mirror image reflection of the heart (self-love) being satisfied with who you are, a stand-alone view of His image made in the image.

Now let that rest in your thinking.—

Accelerate

Accelerate: Einstein discovered the relativity of light, explaining the speed of light, which exceed time existence. This is where miracles are formulated, then manifested in time, visualization. Time is free but it is the most expensive position. If a moment of time is missed, it has lost the miracles within it’s grasp. This is why you can’t get back missed time. If you take advantage of time, you can accelerate a task and get the most out of an adventure.

Accelerate: 1: to move faster : to gain speed

2: to progress from grade to grade more rapidly than usual.

10 Signs that a Person has a Crab Mentality

Crab mentality is a widely used term in the Philippines given to Filipinos who always try to pull down other Filipinos who are succeeding in life and getting ahead of them. This trait is not unusual to us, as it’s actually one of the common bad habits of many Filipinos.

People with crab mentality are everywhere. You can encounter them on social media, where they are always busy criticizing instead of appreciating the news and stories about the achievements of Filipinos.

This attribute is also one of the major causes why our country is not progressing. It doesn’t promote unity, humility and responsibility. I believe we have to get rid of it for our personal and national development. And the first step to eradicate this negative trait from us is to be aware of it. We can all be guilty of crab mentality, and here are 10 signs that someone is having this unfavorable quality.

1. They are too proud of themselves and treat others as inferior beings. You can sense a breeze of arrogance from people with crab mentality. They feel like they have royal blood flowing in their veins, and they treat other Filipinos as peasants. When they earn some achievements of their own, whether big or small, they brag it to everyone to position themselves higher from the rest of the Filipinos. And that is why they will always look down on you, especially if you’re a Filipino who came from the province or a “probinsyano/probinsyana”. They can be racist to their own race – the Filipinos. Oh, I mean they can be racist to other regional races of the Philippines.

2. They panic when their comrades are happy and improving. Aside from arrogance, you can also smell envy, jealousy and bitterness from this kind of people. They freak out when the people they look down are rising or progressing beyond them. It gives them a terrible feeling of insecurity. That’s why they will try to pull them down, either by harsh words or by unkind actions. You will see them giving bitter comments on Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels. They can be irritating, as they may spoil your own little achievement or happiness. So watch out!

3. Their motto in life is “if I can’t have it, neither can you”. They rather wish everyone will fail than let themselves fail while others are succeeding. They represent the “crabs in the bucket” metaphor, where the crabs can easily escape from the bucket, but instead, they grab and pull down each other in a selfish competitive manner which prevents any of them to escape, resulting to their collective demise. In other words, people who have a crab mentality are selfish and they don’t have any sense of sacrifice. They are actually the opposite of Filipinos who are known to love “bayanihan” or communal work.

4. They are full of positivity for themselves but full of negativity for others. They only see the good things in themselves, but they’re blind when it comes to their negative characteristics. When it comes to how they view other people, it becomes the opposite. They only see the bad things of other people while they’re blind to their positive deeds. That is why instead of appreciation, what you will get from them are nothing but negative criticisms. Some of these criticisms are valid while others are just invented to mess up your achievements.

5. They blame their comrades for their failures rather than help them. What is more disgusting about Filipinos who have a crab mentality is that they will pull you down further when you’re already down. When Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) turned the lives of many Filipinos in the Eastern Visayas into the darkest part, the “crabs” were nothing but blamers instead of becoming the helpers. Rather than giving us a hand, these “crabs” broke our already broken souls and hearts. And the saddest part of this, these “crabs” include some public officials who are supposed to give us first-hand public service.

6. They treat their comrades as competitors. It seems like the words unity and cooperation are not in their vocabulary. They always treat other Filipinos as competitors instead of teammates. You can find this kind of people everywhere. In a basketball team, in your office, and even in a cooperative organization, they could be there. Again, envy, jealousy and selfishness cause them to refrain from cooperating. Instead of giving victory to the whole company or team, they just want to grab all the success for themselves. And just like what we discussed in #3, they rather let the team lose, than let it win without making themselves as the star player.

7. They don’t know a thing about compassion. Compassion is a great virtue that enables us to understand the feelings of other people. It lets us walk in other people’s shoes and appreciate the lives they are living. But people with crab mentality lack compassion. They are inconsiderate and ignorant of the many people they are offending. They don’t care about the many hearts they are breaking. Well, what can we expect? They only care for themselves.

8. Yet they act like they know everything. You can’t argue with them because they act like they are the most knowledgeable people in the world. They are active critics but they don’t accept criticisms thrown to them by other people. They don’t need your advice. They don’t want to hear your opinions. Just try to correct them if your dare.

9. They spend most of their time talking about people rather than discussing ideas and solutions. Again, it’s because they treat people as their competitors. Instead of thinking about the brilliant ideas and solutions that can make the Philippines a better country, they spend most of their time ensuring that no other Filipinos can become better than them. When our nation faces a crisis, they will be more active in talking about how people become worthy of suffering rather than discussing the solutions that will help people end their sufferings.

10. They will never admit that they have a crab mentality. And that’s the mystery of it, they will never admit that they have that kind of mentality.

This article is only supposed to be informational rather than judgmental. Even I, when I was still childish, I admit I have some of the signs of having a crab mentality. I was jealous, envious, bitter and a bit selfish. But if we stay in this mentality, we will not grow as a person. And definitely, we will not grow as a nation. Therefore, while it’s still early, we have to be aware of this negative attitude or habit. Then we should get rid of it, not only for ourselves, but also for the whole nation and the next generation.

A Promises - Adonijah, King David and Solomon

This is a repost from 2017 - the message talks about the era of transitioning.

I post many interesting facts that I've understand about a biblical transition between King David handing over his reign to his son Solomon.

Now according to the scriptures pertaining to Adonijah, what does the battle between elder brother Adonijah and the 2nd son Solomon is about?

It's about the battle of 5 things:

1. Law and Grace

2. The enemy for the position of power.

3. The law living in the position of power.

4. The reign of the totality of grace - Solomon Temple and the extended presence of Christ in the body of Christ.

5. Faith through Love living.

The enemy to Grace coming into the lives of God church body, Adonijah, in his mischievous kind of why tried to under handedly attempted to steal the position to remain in a yesterday order during a transitioning time without the reigning appointed King David realizing it.

Adonijah knew his father King David was sick in bed and wasn't fully equipped to oversee the kingdom. And because of the promise to David, his son Solomon would inherit the reign of his kingdom, someone from the field watching Adonijah's error of self appointed, understand protocol, ran to the house of King David and revealed the treacherous act of Adonijah. At that moment King David raised from his bed and placed his coat - King David had the original coat, placed the Kings robe on his son Solomon. The story has many connotations to feed on for accuracy.

Solomon reign as King blessed the nation with the measurement of Solomon's temple — which is the temple God would dwell.

Be blessed as you read the story. Here is the scripture that explains "A Promises - Adonijah, King David and Solomon".

The Execution of Adonijah 1Kings 2:24-26.

Now therefore, as the LORD lives, who has established me and set me on the throne of David my father and who has made me a house as He promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death today." 25So King Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him so that he died. 26Then to Abiathar the priest the king said, "Go to Anathoth to your own field, for you deserve to die; but I will not put you to death at this time, because you carried the ark of the Lord GOD before my father David, and because you were afflicted in everything with which my father was afflicted."… So King Solomon gave orders to Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he struck down Adonijah and he died.

In The Book of 2 Timothy

This morning I am gazing at the full moon and seeing how bright the reflection is, but yet, the moon position is millions of miles away. It's a beautiful sight and it's a reminder that the designer is consistent like clockwork —a full moon of course.

In the book, 2 Timothy 1:9 speaks this, ”who has saved us and called us with a holy (set apart, the finished work of Christ) calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,”

I am reading this as I’m walking. The question is this? According to the written word, in the Kingdom's perspective, says He called us individually a holy calling (whatever that is the finished work of Christ for you is), not of works but His own purpose and grace which was given before time began.

This is a fact but we have to ask the question, what holy calling have You, Father, given to us individually that has not been introduced that should exist today in a body where you now dwell? Daily it is a need to know mandatory questions. Specific prayers are important.

Well, my morning walk is complete under the moon on March 9, 2020, at 5 a.m. - 6:45 a.m. Have an awesome week! (This is March Bible Study)

Fabrics Of Vision

I can honestly say I have experienced many interruptions in my lifetime. Being grounded as you grow maturity, most assuredly, does not change the fabrics of who you are.

I have witnessed some terrible truth and some amazing truth, in whichever deemed more importantly than the other; learning to speak them without the instruction of the wise inward unction could be reckless.

Life is 100% believing and 1000% faith in that belief when a catastrophic consequences happens that would turn your life upside down. Everyone has experienced an “upside down” scenario and you cannot place yourself in a singleness of the effects of personal tragedy, alone.

If you’ve been lucky enough to embrace the heart beat that makes who you are, and the beat, that make you come alive, “it’s that rhythm”, will keep the dream alive.

See the vision, understand the vision, stand in the vision, fight for the vision as you build a visionary’s plan. Father God is the visionary, therefore, follow the lamp down the lighted path.

12 Months

52 Weeks

365 Days

8765 Hours

525948 Minutes

Ready, Said Go, one more time again, in the year 2020.

Hope can become frail, but it cannot be killed. (smile) How do you maintain hope without frailty? You maintain hope by writing at least one goal to work on towards accomplishing - you can add more goals as you go on in the year but one goal is great to start. Another way to maintain hope without frailty, that is, you believe in yourself, know reality of mobility - when it's time for relaxation and by adding in daily faith prayers.

The year 2020 is a daily effort and not a cliche rhyme. Make it your personal best effort and keep balance, love, courage and strength next to hope and possibilities will be a reality.

By Glory To Glory

African's came to this country, America, against their will without any knowledge of the language, structure and crown.

After 400 plus years later, there have been glory after glory obtaining that royalty crown within foreign land now called home. I must say, that is an amazing prestigious calibration around this globe.

A people of faith, a people of strength, a people of gifts and talents, a people of information, a people of intelligence and a people of structural struggle.

Building from nothing, holding the knowledge, information, gifts and talents, intelligence with applying over the top faith with praise and dance, has raised the reachable monument by trail blazing goals.

5 Mind-Blowing Statistics About the Richest 1%

The richest 1% know the secrets to building wealth, and nothing makes that more evident than the statistics about how they stack up to the 99% that most of us belong to. Though we may never join them, many of us can’t help but be curious about how these wealthy folks live. Here are five surprising statistics about the richest 1% along with some tips on how to increase your own net worth.

1. It takes an annual income of $421,926 to join the 1% in the U.S. When we think of the 1%, we often think of people raking in seven figures a year, but it only takes the comparatively modest figure of $421,926 to join the 1% in the U.S., according to data from the Economic Policy Institute (EPI). That’s an average of about $35,161 per month or about $1,156 per day. Being in the 1% of your state may cost more or less than this, though. Connecticut residents will need to earn a whopping $700,800 per year to join this elite group while Mississippi residents can join the 1% with a mere $254,362 in annual income.

2. The richest 1% earn 26.3 times more than the bottom 99%. The average one-percenter can expect to earn almost $1,317,000 per year, according to the EPI study. By contrast, the average 99-percenter brings home just $50,107 per year. That puts the average 1% income about 26.3 times higher than the average income for the rest of the country. This ratio also varies by state. New York has the largest income inequality gap with the top 1% taking home 44.4 times what the bottom 99% earn in that state. Alaska has the lowest income inequality gap. Its 1% only earns 12.3 times what its bottom 99% earn.

3. The top 1% holds 42.5% of the national wealth. The wealthiest 1% of U.S. residents — about 3.29 million people — hold 42.5% of our national wealth, while the remaining 325.7 million people share the remaining 57.5%, according to Inequality.org. No other country in the world has so much wealth concentrated in the hands of the few. In the Netherlands, which had the next-largest income inequality gap according to the Inequality.org survey, the 1% only holds 28% of the country’s wealth.

What Is GasLighting - 11 Warning Signs

1. They tell blatant lies. You know it's an outright lie. Yet they are telling you this lie with a straight face. Why are they so blatant? Because they're setting up a precedent. Once they tell you a huge lie, you're not sure if anything they say is true. Keeping you unsteady and off-kilter is the goal.

2. They deny they ever said something, even though you have proof. You know they said they would do something; you know you heard it. But they out and out deny it. It makes you start questioning your reality—maybe they never said that thing. And the more they do this, the more you question your reality and start accepting theirs.

3. They use what is near and dear to you as ammunition. They know how important your kids are to you, and they know how important your identity is to you. So those may be one of the first things they attack. If you have kids, they tell you that you should not have had those children. They will tell you'd be a worthy person if only you didn't have a long list of negative traits. They attack the foundation of your being.

4. They wear you down over time. This is one of the insidious things about gaslighting—it is done gradually, over time. A lie here, a lie there, a snide comment every so often...and then it starts ramping up. Even the brightest, most self-aware people can be sucked into gaslighting—it is that effective. It's the "frog in the frying pan" analogy: The heat is turned up slowly, so the frog never realizes what's happening to it.

5. Their actions do not match their words. When dealing with a person or entity that gaslights, look at what they are doing rather than what they are saying. What they are saying means nothing; it is just talk. What they are doing is the issue.

6. They throw in positive reinforcement to confuse you. This person or entity that is cutting you down, telling you that you don't have value, is now praising you for something you did. This adds an additional sense of uneasiness. You think, "Well maybe they aren't so bad." Yes, they are. This is a calculated attempt to keep you off-kilter—and again, to question your reality. Also look at what you were praised for; it is probably something that served the gaslighter.

7. They know confusion weakens people. Gaslighters know that people like having a sense of stability and normalcy. Their goal is to uproot this and make you constantly question everything. And humans' natural tendency is to look to the person or entity that will help you feel more stable—and that happens to be the gaslighter.

8. They project. They are a drug user or a cheater, yet they are constantly accusing you of that. This is done so often that you start trying to defend yourself, and are distracted from the gaslighter's own behavior.

9. They try to align people against you. Gaslighters are masters at manipulating and finding the people they know will stand by them no matter what—and they use these people against you. They will make comments such as, "This person knows that you're not right," or "This person knows you're useless too." Keep in mind it does not mean that these people actually said these things. A gaslighter is a constant liar. When the gaslighter uses this tactic it makes you feel like you don't know who to trust or turn to—and that leads you right back to the gaslighter. And that's exactly what they want: Isolation gives them more control.

10. They tell you or others that you are crazy. This is one of the most effective tools of the gaslighter, because it's dismissive. The gaslighter knows if they question your sanity, people will not believe you when you tell them the gaslighter is abusive or out-of-control. It's a master technique.

11. They tell you everyone else is a liar.

By telling you that everyone else (your family, the media) is a liar, it again makes you question your reality. You've never known someone with the audacity to do this, so they must be telling the truth, right? No. It's a manipulation technique. It makes people turn to the gaslighter for the "correct" information—which isn't correct information at all. The more you are aware of these techniques, the quicker you can identify them and avoid falling into the gaslighter's trap.

Surprisingly Rare

With billions of people on this planet, finding someone whom you believe you can share your life with is surprisingly rare.

Life in any type of friendship is in campaign as like, who can find all the end pieces to the perfect jigsaw puzzle around the table. .

Great things about jigsaw puzzles, before you select the the right puzzle, you find the right picture that triggers something. There could be many pictures of your liking but selecting the right display that would keep your interest to see the project finished is key. . .

Now that I’m older, my jigsaw puzzle is pictured of a life time of experiences and foresight. The end pieces of the puzzle has already been put together and majority of the picture have been completed. Now in search for that one piece, that if you have ever put a jigsaw puzzle together, you know exactly what I’m talking about....you’re looking for that one piece to complete the project that somehow, it seems to be missing from all the other pieces of the puzzle. Later after not thinking about the puzzle, you discover the missing piece is in another room laying there waiting to be discovered. . .

Jigsaw puzzles are fun and so is life.....the pursuit of it make everyday worthwhile.

Lamps Everywhere

This is a picture of a person who has received understanding of the word of God. Picture that for a moment. I'm thinking about the praying lamps - the grandmothers, and or mothers who usually sit on the first two rows of any church. Meditate on that but seeing beautiful lamps positioned perfectly trimmed with colored hats that represent lamp shades to tone down the light for the edifier - the pastor and or the teachers on Sunday's. (smiles)

After this write-up, I hope that you no longer see another seasoned believer the same; I pray that your spiritual eyes will see them as lamps, ready to embrace, for you see them; some, the lamps are like the measures of a light bulb - 30 watt, 60 watt, 70 watt, 100 watt, 200 watt, and even 500 watt, but there is a light and some, the lights are shining brighter than bright. At the same time, you can see lights that need to be changed, though the light bulb has burned out over time and need to be replaced or even upgraded for better brightness. That would be the studying of the word of God.

There is a scripture that will better embrace my point regarding "Lamps" shining everywhere. The scripture is

Psalms 119:105 says,

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

You see, once I understood that the very scriptures I and you read daily are lamps, and when revelations is given by the Holy Spirit over and over and over and over again in my and your lifetime, it is light to your path.

Can you know fact, that nature light shines forever because of the word in which nature is created to be as created, that hears and sees, that is never darkened by the seasons....Nature brings enlightenment daily....

You see, this will eliminate those who enjoy putting your light out so that they can shine brighter than the person they're assaulting or embarrassing or gossiping or shaming publicly and privately. It actually puts their light out or it dims it over time for it to be changed for a newer light or brighter light bulb the educating a better understanding of His word. If that makes any sense?

The word is also seed, which is Jesus and He can not be destroyed because the seed or the lamp has been revealed which is the path.

Now picture that concept in a seasoned believer which is not determined by age, race or any demographic measurements. It is determined by a thirsty and a hungry soul that is longing for a brighter way of life.

You future is bright, accept that, it has been confirmed and made true.

Have a wonderful week!

Zealous Days

Happy 4th of July.

I woke up this morning with so much zeal. Zealous at times can put you in a good time to believe and believe and believe! Being zealous can place you in a moment of thankfulness that faith exists and that your own existence is every part of the faith lifestyle. Faith, the grace kind of faith, is the only word that has co-existed between heaven and earth before time was and is, and has proven to be the way to live if you’re preferring all good things in your measure of faith. So again, Happy 4th of July — The Independence Day!!!! .

Independence Day, also referred to as the Fourth of July or July Fourth, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

Celebrations: Fireworks, family reunions, concerts, barbecues, picnics, parades, baseball games and much more.....

Intimacy

The title of this blog post is called “Intimacy”. Let me explain why I have chosen it.

When I think of Intimacy I think of words like:

Familiarity

Belonging

Closeness

Commitment

Nearness

Devoteness

Devotion

Passion

Fidelity

Love

Fondness

Kinship

I could go on with words that will describe a place every human race and every created existence long for exclusively with another person and exclusively with the Lord. It’s the blessed treasure given to everything which has been made in the image of God.

So, when I think of Intimacy — a closeness when nothing between two things or between two people is hidden, nothing is withheld. I’m thinking about a particular scripture that unveils my point as to how divinely heaven releases intimate knowledge to individuals. That scripture comes from the book of Psalms in 119:105 says,

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

This exact scripture came to mind. Although there are many more, but this one brings my point to light. Here is why?

It says, Your word is a lamp. A lamp is an illuminated thing that brings attention to something that prior before the lamp is turned on, the environment which is already there, it is not made visible so to speak. To my clarity, I would assume the Word is revealed by the divine — The Holy Spirit bringing illumination to a knowledge that was hidden, and the part that says, for my feet; this knowledge will cause an individual at the time of illumination, to move forward based on what have been revealed in Intimacy, with accurate and all knowing truths. The part that speaks, a light on my path is simply the instructions as to why your feet will move forward. It will provide the question and answer method: why, where, when, who and how too.

Intimacy is the gateway blessing of Grace, the Love of Christ. There is no other way to live — Intimacy, that is. Intimacy is the covenant.

Intimacy is a room of privacy. Like the Ark of the Covenant as an example of the Tabernacle. We will end this subject of Intimacy here. It is a subject that can be a novel with unveiling truth.

I hope this entry has blessed you. Let me know what you thought about this post by commenting.

And today, be blessed. (9:47 am)

What You Say

June 6, 2018 John 16:13 says, However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority (people does speak on their own authority at times), but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. (14) He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. (15) All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He will take of Mine and declare to you.

The verse, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak” takes me back to the first 3 chapters of Genesis, the history of creation. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It’s that part in Gen 1:2, The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. “And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” The God spoke, let there be light and there was light. I believe the Spirit Repeated Gods words as earth created according to the testimony of God declarations.

The Unknown You

It’s been a week since an American girl became a Princess. Six months prior her life changed dramatically after meeting a Prince.

I included my photo in this photo collage to make a point to many. That point is that your life has the opportunity to dramatically change overnight without a yesterday notification.

Every morning that you are blessed to see another sunrise, is another level upward your life will expand to grow exponentially of possibilities yet not known the day before. Hope, Faith and an eagerness to live everyday with an expression of gratitude alongside with a heart to live given to change what your passion expresses unfair evidence of unequal constitutions.

If the goal is living, that is, to resemble the heaven imagined, then our individual passions are persuaded by a place established in peace, love, kindness, joy, happiness, harmony, and harvesting growth.

Faith is believing what is not yet seen with your natural eyes but has been revealed to your heart with your spiritual eyes. Never give up on YOU. The process is building, creating, and most of all, ensuring the sturdy foundation of the totality of that final product — Life In completion; whatever that will be for an individual. It’s different for every soul.
